As the Horus Heresy raged on, Horus fell further and further into the grasp of a dark and terrible malaise. Where once he was a paragon of honour, renowned for his sense of justice and camaraderie, he became grim of aspect and ever ready to dispense fearsome punishments for even the most minor of infractions or failures. As his temperament grew darker and more bitter, his body slowly transformed. Bloated with dark power, he now towers over even his Primarch brothers, possessed of a strength and resilience that no living man, save perhaps only the Emperor himself, can match.
This finely detailed resin kit builds Horus Ascended, depicted as he's seen at the end of the Horus Heresy. Horus can be taken in your games of Warhammer: The Horus Heresy as a Primarch for your Traitor Sons of Horus army. In game, his combat prowess makes him all-but unbeatable in a duel, requiring your opponent to shift their plans to deal with the threat he presents. There's nothing he can't take on, from hordes of heavy infantry to the largest war machines. He can also be used as Horus Lupercal, as he bears the same signature armour and wargear – subtly altered by his power. The model stands atop a fully sculpted scenic base – a heaped pile of corpses, severed Space Marine limbs, and a toppled standard that hint at the unfathomable destruction he has unleashed upon the galaxy. The base also includes a smaller, removable base for gaming use.
Horus Ascended is comprised of 41 resin components, and comes with a 50mm Round base for gaming, which slots into an 80mm Round display base. This miniature is supplied unpainted and requires assembly – we recommend using Citadel Colour paints.
This resin modelling kit is not a toy – it is a collectible item and construction should only be undertaken by expert Warhammer hobbyists aged 15 years and over.
